It is quite impossible to break free from all the skyscrapers and congested streets where the vehicles would just blow the chemicals right on you face in Jakarta. Trees are slightly be spotted, and you felt like you need more of the fresh air without going out of town since you have classes and assignments/projects from school or university. I know, banyak mau.
However we found a place, in North Jakarta, which is a Mangrove Forest specifically in Pantai Indah Kapuk. Everyone is buzzing about it since last year but we haven't got the time to go there because of our national exam preparation and also searching for universities. So the not-so whole crew went there last month just to have some refreshment from all the reality.
The view was beyond amazing and it is so surprising that it is still in Jakarta.

The highlight of this adventure we had, was the boat. We went for a row to go around the river, which eventually failed because none of us knows how to row it properly so we just stay in the middle of the river while waiting for the sunset. The sunset was BEYOND breathtaking. There were variety of birds flying home to its nests or took some fishes in the river.
